RETNA has new paintings and works on paper at the Michael Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles, CA thru October 27, 2012. Both the outside and inside of the gallery were transformed by the MSK-affiliated writer with his urban hieroglyphics in the form of paintings. Something I recently discovered was, the artist adopted the alias Retna from the Wu Tang Clan track Heaterz: "Kinetic globes light will then shine, burns your retina." Now you have to like RETNA if you're down with the WU, go see his works now.
