French artist JR's latest project occurs in the streets of Hong Kong and inside the Galerie Perrotin HK. Over 175 people were photographed for the project and the final 16 selected portraits, each measuring 6 x 6 meters, are on display. The 16 large-scale black and white portraits of Hong Kong city dwellers (looking up to the city’s skyscrapers) are pasted on the rooftop of one of city’s elevated footbridges located above Connaught Road in Central HK. If you weren't aware, these new works are part of his global art project “Inside Out” as presented on TED Talks. “Pattern” by JR, from 18th September to 10th November 2012.
