“Rain Room” by contemporary art studio Random International in the London Barbican Center Curve exhibition space, opened last Thursday with a technologically intricate installation that creates streaks of torrential rain in a darkened room. What's amazing about this installation is when you walk through it you won't get wet. To create this effect artists used several 3D sensory cameras fixed to the ceiling of the Rain Room; every person who walks into the 100 square metre space is recognized. The installation has been designed to create an intimate atmosphere of contemplation. Visit before March 3, 2013 to experience this "cocooning experience."
