+ the mad hat tea company, nestled in downtown tacoma, sells various worldwide teas for regular to advance tea connoisseurs. The shop carries a variety of oolong, green, white, etc. teas, but the main reason for my visit was to buy some kava kava tea. If you've never heard of it, the KAVA tea relaxes the muscles, aids sleep, helps to reduce stress and even makes people more sociable (others have even compared the teas similar side effects to a certain smoke-able green plant). a tea this strong is definitely worth trying whereas the teas i normally drink rarely have any significant effect on me. a worker at the shop also mentioned to me he serves this tea to his son to help him concentrate when studying, this is great news maybe it will aid me in my school work as well.
