Merry Karnowsky Gallery unveiled new work by Australian artist Mark Whalen (aka Kill Pixie) titled “Portals" last Saturday. This exhibit features a collection of extremely detailed and geometric artwork, black on black paintings covered in resin, and a variety of circle shaped canvases. Whalen drew on themes of power structures in other worldly environments for this show. You have until November 10, 2012 to view the show in Los Angeles.
