Going to school on the east coast of Washington has many advantages, but there are also some disadvantages. One for example is the lack of various artistic exhibitions and events, so when I heard about Terrain in Spokane, WA from professors and posters around campus, I knew I had to check it out, even if it only involved local Northwest artists. Started in 2008, Terrain keeps on growing and attracting more visitors each year. This year it was held in the Music City Building downtown and even had an musical performance by James Pants of Stones Throw Records.
