+ I guess I've never actually paid attention to the podium where Olympic winners stand on, but here is the Vancouver 2010 Olympic podium design. The podiums range from 4.8 m to 15.3 m in length, 1.7 m to 5 m in depth and half a meter tall at their highest point (where the gold medalists stand). They are designed by James Lee and Leo Obstbaum and hand-built, which makes me appreciate them a little bit more, so next time your watching the Olympics look down. Via CanadianDesign
