+ So I finally got the chance to visit the
SAM (Seattle Art Museum) randomly on one of their first Thursdays where admission is free. Amazingly it was what I expected and more. Originally I've been anxiously planning to go see the Michelangelo exhibit, which ends this month, and also take a look at A Balancing Act by Alexander Calder. Of course it was busy because of the free admission but the amount of people present was immense and made it difficult to walk through the exhibits, especially Michelangelo's. Although it was packed it didn't take away my amazement of his art. I mean, you always see pictures of his artwork in books and magazines but after seeing his work (or any artists work) in person, you tend to truly appreciate the craftsmanship and heart that was put into it. If you're in Seattle, enjoy art, or have nothing to do, plan a visit to SAM you won't regret it.

+ the only thing i didnt like was you couldnt take pictures inside the museum but its totally understandable due to copyright issues. i took some pictures anyways

+ security was tough inside michelangelos exhibit so no pics but i had to take this picture of an andy warhol original
