A LOCAL OF THE NORTHWEST

+ Artist Josh Keyes is from Tacoma and he is making a name for himself in the art world. He graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago then later received his MFA in painting at Yale University (I didn't even know Yale had an art program). His paintings are original and the thought process that goes into them are beyond normal, they tend to "embody a vision that is idiosyncratic, yet the familiar imagery allows for a connection to collective or global concerns we share."
