MEET AN ARTIST WHOS NOT AFRAID OF LITTLE MISTAKES

Los Angeles-based illustrator Hannah Stouffer is an artist whos works are filled with mistakes but are full of details and precision. From her watercolor paintings it is very evident there is vibrant and brilliant contrast. She uses color and imagery to explore the darker elements of life, but also includes the opposite of that in vivid splashes of light. Her artistic vision has taken her into colaborations with Nike footwear, a Ludacris (rapper) music video, multiple ads for mega-companies, and even to clothing and apparel. A random fact about Hannah is she loves to listen a lot of gangster rap, RnB and metal music such as Gucci Mane, Mac Mall, R Kelly, King Diamond, Sabbath, and Blue Oyster Cult.

She currently has an open gallery at Junc Gallery/ Blood is the New Black Anniversary Show now through December 14, 2009.
