NASA'S SPACE MISSION PATCHES

Just like other military branches, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), has adapted the use of patches on their uniforms except each patch is unique and distinct to each astronauts mission. Over the years some have been more "unique" than others.

Daffy Duck and Marvin Martian made appearances on two patches for Mars Exploration Rover missions.


The Stephen Colbert patch commemorating the treadmill that sort of bears his name on the International Space Station and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were featured on a patch for the Multi-Purpose Logistics Model of the International Space Station.
