Chris Dorosz is a Canadian artist who creates intricate sculptures using a grid of acrylic rods which he covers in tiny paint drops to create 3-d images. His theory of the paint drop is that it is "a form that takes shape not from a brush or any human-made implements or gestures, but purely from its own viscosity and the air it falls through."
He is now based in San Fransisco where you can find him teaching at The Academy of Art University.
